Materials Requirement: Digital Camera Required for course (DSLR or Point and Shoot Camera)

Prerequisites: Individual schools may have entrance requirements.

The photography course is designed to teach students how to use a digital/film camera and manipulate photographs using computer software or darkroom techniques.. Students will learn skills related to camera uses, photography techniques, composition and design skills, and digital imaging software. The course is intended to introduce the digital/film camera to students as a tool to create art. The course is aligned with the SC Visual and Performing Arts Academic Achievement Standards.
