This course provides an in-depth study of the principles that apply to an economic system as a whole. Emphasis is on the study of national income and price determination. The course develops students’ familiarity with economic performance measures, economic growth, and international economics. This course meets the state requirements for graduation. Students enrolled in this class are required to take the AP Economics Exam in May with the possibility of earning three hours of college credit.
